It was a glorious spring day, the day the Navy came to town. Melbourne’s Swanston street was shut down, people had gathered and the Naval participants in the parade were wearing their Queens best colours. HMAS Cerberus had been honoured with the granting of Freedom of Entry to Melbourne.
